As we communicated before, KARUDECA is implementing a pilot project on reproductive health education. Specifically, the project is creating awareness on menstruation management among primary schools pupils in Karagwe district Tanzania. The lessons to be learned will help the project team to work more sustainably in future.
Many thanks to all our supporters who made this project a success.

This year KARUDECA will implement a sexual and reproductive health and education project for students in primary and secondary schools in Karagwe district Tanzania. The project will specifically train girl children on how to manage their menstruations and make local sanitary pads for their use. The project is expected to improve students attendance in schools , raise their academic performance and improve their general well-being.
