Rain Water harvesting Tanks Construction Project

In partnership with Tanzania Development Trust (TDT) UK , KARUDECA constructed a water tank to enable both teachers and students  at Nyakahanga secondary schools, Karagwe Tanzania get water to drink and use when at school. This project is benefiting about 450 students and 50 teachers.
Also, KARUDECA in partnership with EWB Sweden, has recently completed a 50,000 Liters above the ground rain water harvesting tank at Ihanda primary school, Karagwe Tanzania. The project will benefit about 500 pupils and 15 teachers. This project was supported by Engineers without Borders Sweden(EWB).

There is still a big need of this project. Interested partners are welcome to collaborate with us to expand it and benefit more needy schools in the region.

Pupils at Ihanda Primary School in the rural village of Ihanda benefit from a rainwater harvesting tank constructed by KARUDECA in partnership with Engineers Without Borders Sweden and the Tanzania Development Trust. The tanks provide safe and sustainable drinking water to students and teachers while saving hours each day that would otherwise be spent carrying water from far away wells.
